The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is the most outstanding work of Romanesque art in Spain and stands as the final goal of all the Pilgrims’ Roads to Santiago de Compostela that lead thousands of pilgrims to it year after year. Its inaugural stone, from which the monumental city of Santiago de Compostela was born, was forged in a sacred forest at the end of the world with the vocation of Holy City and World Heritage Site, the Cathedral is shown as a complex set of spaces capable of rewarding the faith of the walkers with its powerful spirituality and the visitors of the world with its beauty. The Cathedral of Santiago Museum allows visitors to deepen their knowledge of the history and art of the Cathedral, through its different spaces and the temporary exhibitions it organizes.
